Cranberry Sauce

Our easy cooked cranberry sauce is a delicious, heathy side dish with chicken, turkey or pork. And leftovers taste great warmed up and served on waffles, pancakes, or oatmeal. Cranberry sauce adds a wonderful tangy, sweet flavor to smoothies and juice drinks. Be creative, some say it’s delicious folded into whipped cream with a dollop placed on top of your hot chocolate. I’m looking forward to trying this soon!

2 cups cranberries
1 cup water
1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons lemon juice

In a small pan, simmer all ingredients 10 minutes on medium heat until slightly thick. Delicious served on pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, etc.
