Easy Sloppy Joes

Easy Sloppy Joes

1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
3/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

In a large skillet, brown beef with onion and celery over medium-high heat. Add remaining ingredients. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 30 to 45 minutes. This is a great recipe to double or triple and place in a slow cooker on low.

Makes 6 servings
