Guess what our new favorite recipe is? Italian Chicken! It’s so easy to make and delicious, too. Don’t be deceived by the blackened garlic on top. This chicken is very moist and juicy with just the right amount of seasoned crunch! It received rave reviews from all taste testers.
After baking, ready to serve.
4 to 6 chicken breasts, or whole cut up chicken
1/4 to 1/3 cup lemon juice, depending on how much chicken you use
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 tablespoon Italian seasoning (page 125)
6 cloves garlic, minced
Place chicken in a 9 x 13 glass pan. Drizzle with lemon juice. In a small bowl, stir together salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Sprinkle evenly over chicken and top with minced garlic.
Move oven rack to highest position and broil chicken 10 minutes on high. Reduce oven temperature to 400o F and move chicken to lower rack. Bake uncovered 20 to 30 minutes.
