Valentine’s day is the perfect time to make special food. We created Jello Shapes that are an easy treat to make for your kiddos to show how much you love them!
Our Jello Shapes are made with unflavored gelatin and sweetened with strawberries and honey. Gelatin is very nutritious. It is a collagen protein and has amino acids that help repair damaged cell walls. Gelatin promotes healthy digestion, strengthens hair, nails and bones as well as reduces inflammation which helps joint pain.
It’s important to know the source of gelatin. We like to use Vital Proteins beef gelatin or Great Lakes unflavored gelatin. Click here to find more products we love.

Jello Shapes
3 cups frozen strawberries
3 cups cold water, divided
1/2 cup honey
Place 3 cups strawberries and 2 cups water in medium sauce pan. Boil 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. While cooking strawberries, stir gelatin into remaining 1 cup cold water and let sit to thicken. When strawberries are done boiling, use an immersion blender to puree them. (Refer to page 237 of Eating Pure in a Processed Foods World® if you’d like to strain out the seeds) Add honey and gelatin mixture. Cook over medium-high heat 2 to 3 minutes until gelatin is dissolved, stirring with a whisk. Pour into 9 x 13 glass pan. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours until edges are set. Cut and serve.
Makes 6 servings
Variation: Replace strawberries with blueberries or raspberries.
